Hi, I’m Alan. Owner and photographer at Alan Berning Photography.
When I am asked why I got into photography, I simply say, “because I can’t paint or draw.” Truthfully, I’ve started working with digital media in high school for video, photography and web design. Throughout my adult lifetime, every career path I ventured into always brought me back to a camera. I did video for my college athletics department up to flying drones for the US Military.
As a hobbyist photographer and filmmaker I was always motivated by people enjoying projects that I had created. I’ve experimented with many forms of photography, but nature and wildlife would always draw me back.
